A So-Called Dollar Box of 20.

Over the past month there were several threads about So-Called Dollars(alternately abbreviated SCD or SC$'s) and a few members who expressed interest and curiosity. I went through some pictures I have of medals that I still own and put together a "Box of Twenty" that represents some of my favorites. I tried to represent the diversity included in the Hibler-Kappen catalogue both in design, planchet alloy and size. Some of my real favorites I no longer own or don't yet have images.
Comment if you'd like to, but better still post pictures of some personal favorites.
The images are varied and in no particular order, there are a few obvious TrueViews, a few by either Todd/BlueCC, Mark Goodman and I think 1-2 of mine. Enjoy and thanks in advance.

I really like the SC dollars you chose for your box of 20...here are a few I have in my box of 12

I could almost do a Box of Twenty just from the 1933-34 Chicago Exhibition, it's probably my favorite group of medals in the entire catalogue. the Art Deco theme that dominates was in full swing and displayed well on the medals. an aspect of that event which many don't know --- even though it was held during the Depression it was the first major US Exposition/World's Fair to turn a profit. remarkable!!
That's a very interesting and mixed set of SCDs. Lots of great variety and quality.
I call 19 as I'm pretty sure that exact HK 392 has lived in my box of 20 for quite a few years
Very nice set Al.... I particularly like the 392 and the 667.... The 667 is special since I live in the Catskills... Cheers, RickO
My father told me that during the 1933-34 expo he would direct tourists to his family's apartment where they would rent a room while attending the expo. This was common practice at the time and much less expensive than staying at a hotel,
My mother remembers attending the expo many times as a 7-8 year old. Unfortunately, she wasn't interest in medals (and still isn't.)
Stunners. 327, 294, 471, and 490 are all winners.
