Were you pleased with the results? I know you stated you sold your entire collection... was there anything you tucked away you simply couldn't part with?

Why post this a month after the auction?

So what is next? Take the cash from that sale and buy one nice dream coin?

I was generally please ...with the results but sne coins went cheap.

I thought some of the the gold went a little to low and someone got good buys on the bust dollars.

I do not hold back any US coins.

Anything else in mind on the collecting front?

"Gold is money, and nothing else" (JP Morgan, 1912)

"“Those who sacrifice liberty for security/safety deserve neither.“(Benjamin Franklin)

"I only golf on days that end in 'Y'" (DE59)

Was a nice bunch of coins! May I inquire about your reasons for selling, the timing, the reason you went with that auction house, and your impression of the overall experience? Not prying, but I find others impressions about the market/hobby to be instructive.

No I'm going to hold onto the cash for now.

My kids had no interest in coins ......neither my wife so I was it going to leave it to them.

Hard to believe I'm out of US after so many years collecting. But I'm fine with it.

Maybe someone can put up a link to the DW collection.

I still have a ton of foreign coins which I I still collect .

I lost interest in US as measured by my lack of enthusiasm to buy anymore US. Also I had held most of f these coins many years.

Legend gave me good terms as a seller . Of course I consigned alot of coins to them unreserved.

I thought they did a good job in their description and auction history of the coins.

    Beautiful coins!

Your results were excellent when compared to Legend's estimate, 42 of the 55 coins met or exceeded estimates (28 exceeded) with only 13 underperforming.

Excellent collection. Looks like Good results. I will do the same with mine in about 20 years unless my kids take to collecting between now and then.

You had some amazing coins in your collection. I’m sorry to hear you lost interest.

Congratulations on the sale of your coins, they are beauties.

My understanding is that Legend is very picky. You must have had an exceptionally high quality collection for them to take the whole thing and not cherrypick. Congratulations on putting together such a great collection, and good luck on the next adventure!

That was a great Legend sale. You sure did have a nice collection. I bought four of five of your coins. Thank you!

I hope you come back collecting US one day.

You had some very enviable coins; were they mine I'd have had a very hard time parting with them! But, you've made several other collectors very happy, and you're all good with the results, so win-win.
