Just wanting to put together a type set initially, not going for multiples or anything. (yet) I have the saint and the $10 already, so as soon as the $5 I have on layaway is paid for it will be complete.
I thought the rose tone was pretty cool, and there are glints of orange/gold in some areas which are hard to pick up.
Feel free to GTG if you want. Crazhhounddog (Joe) took the pics and he did a great job, as always.
MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Another pic of the obverse, full resolution.

When I saw the thread, I just knew it would have some pretty toning - and I'm not disappointed!
I really like the rose toning!
Love the color! I like it more than my example in my toned Indian set. Mine is only a AU55. I'm going to guess yours is a 62. Here's mine:

Coins were cool back then!
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
I will go with 63.
Beautiful coin with attractive original surfaces. I like it a lot. I see wear on the Indian's cheek bone so I'll guess AU58.

Very nice gold Indian.... a personal favorite of mine.... I would call it a 62....due to some wear on the headband.... Cheers, RickO
The color on this gold piece is really pretty and with the luster makes this quarter eagle real show stopper at any grade . I can not comment on the grade cause I what it is.
A real beauty
MS for sure and probably a 63 or 64.

So what does it grade?
It's a ms63, one of those older dove grey inserts if that matters any.
