My recent submission results...lots of color!
I renewed my subscription to PCGS a few months ago and wasn't sure what I wanted to send in. I had picked up a few items, but wanted my 8 free grades to really mean something, so I took my time with it. I knew I had a couple of really nice Roosies sitting around in other 3rd party holders and I decided to take a page from @DIMEMAN's playbook and crack them out instead of the regrade route. I also recently been spending time at the local coin store and had noticed they had a couple of OGH Morgan Dollars that to me looked really under graded for being in MS64 holders. I inquired about them just out of curiosity and Stave the owner said they've been sitting there for over 10+ yrs, so taking his word for it, I decided to take a gamble and buy them strictly for the purpose of an experiment which is going out of my comfort zone (Roosies/Moderns) and playing the crack out game. I also have a ton of before pictures and I'm having trouble uploading them from my piece of crap cell phone to my MacBook Pro computer. When I get that fixed, I will then add those photos. Well here are the results with a description on old and new grades. I won't make anyone guess today...
This dime was given to me as a gift after buying some dimes from @onlyroosies. This dime was in a NGC MS67FT slab and came back PCGS MS67 with no bands unfortunately. It's one of those Roosies that depending on the angle you look at it and the light, it does indeed have FB's.
PCGS MS67
This dime was on eBay and I purchased it because of the incredible toning. It is quite lustrous and I love the toning. It was in an old ANACS MS66 slab. Now it resides in a PCGS MS67+ This coin qualifies as my very first upgraded coin. I'm incredibly happy.
PCGS MS67+
Here's a dime that @DIMEMAN sold to me in an NGC MS66FT slab. It actually is going right back to PCGS for variety review as it is a textbook 1946-D/D FS-502. This is the coin I really wanted in a PCGS slab with an MS66FB grade of which it did receive. I'm quite happy with this and it fits nicely into my main variety set. Thanks again Dimeman!!!
PCGS MS66FB
This dime I seen on eBay for a quick sale. It cost me $25 and came in an old PCGS green holder with the grade MS66. Man the color is astounding. I've had it for quite some time and really glad to have it in a new holder.
PCGS MS66FB
I was at my local coin store when i seen this sitting in his drawer. He just acquired it from someone selling silver and it came in one of those small clear flip cases with a blue cardboard that says "American Silver Eagle". I bought it quick like for just the price of a silver eagle. No markup on price for color.
PCGS MS68
Another eagle here that I bought for $24 at the semi-annual Rockford, coin show. He had several eagles with different shades of toning and degrees of toning. I thought this one looked nice. Now didn't I read on here that PCGS gives out a max of MS68 to toned eagles. Can someone clarify this please as both my eagles came back MS68.
PCGS MS68
I have never owned any Morgan Dollars before and I kept looking at these last 2 for such a long time, I just decided to pull the trigger and go for it. This was in an old green holder that graded out as MS64. Being a novice in this series, I went for it and I was right, it upgraded 1 full point to a 65. Very happy, and not sure if I will be keeping it or the other Morgan.
PCGS MS65
The last coin on the submission came in an old green type writer printed holder from PCGS with an MS64 grade. I really thought this was at least an MS65, but again what do I know.

Comments are most welcome...
Thanks for looking...

Nice Dimes Paul. I knew you would like that 46-D/D.
Nice coins... and I can see your focus on colorful tarnish is well accommodated with most of these.... the '86 Morgan being the exception (one that I would go for...
)......Congratulations on the grades, you obviously have a very discerning eye for quality. Cheers, RickO
Nice toning. I like them all.

I really like the toning on the dimes. I like the looks of both Morgans too. I think you had a solid result on your first adventure.
I really like the look of the last posted 1946-S Rossie that's very eye appealing to me.
I'm doing a set of Roosies but keeping them raw. I'm finding that attractively toned coins aren't easy to find. yours all would fit the bill, pleasant appearance with what looks like strong luster.
