But, for the life of me, I can't capture the glossy GREEN surface that drew me to it. ![]()

Sure has a hammered reverse !
Beautiful compared to most of mine.
nice!
BHNC #203
Nice!
Very nice! Can we see the obverse please?
True 'greenie' large cents are tough to come by.
My sole example I had photographed by Todd some years ago, and as good as he is,
still had trouble capturing the frosty green.
No green in that picture (at least not on my excellent computer)...however, it is a very nice reverse... is the obverse as good?? Cheers, RickO
Well, it is a quite noticeable green tinge to the "toning." Very glossy and "hinty" (?) subtle.
Enough to catch my eye in the case. But not enough to capture it on at least....my.... camera.
The obverse isn't anything special.

Looks much better than a 63..
Many successful BST transactions with dozens of board members, references on request.
That might ....also... have "caught my eye."

thats wicked nice. i like
So I got a newbie question what is an average price one would pay for a coin like this? I have zero knowledge in older coins. Not looking for what Mr. Topstuf paid just whats the average price one would pay for such a beautiful coin. TYIA
Beautiful coin- I think you got a bargain if you got it for 63 money.
