    True 'greenie' large cents are tough to come by.
    My sole example I had photographed by Todd some years ago, and as good as he is,
    still had trouble capturing the frosty green.

    No green in that picture (at least not on my excellent computer)...however, it is a very nice reverse... is the obverse as good?? Cheers, RickO

    Well, it is a quite noticeable green tinge to the "toning." Very glossy and "hinty" (?) subtle.
    Enough to catch my eye in the case. But not enough to capture it on at least....my.... camera.

    The obverse isn't anything special.

    So I got a newbie question what is an average price one would pay for a coin like this? I have zero knowledge in older coins. Not looking for what Mr. Topstuf paid just whats the average price one would pay for such a beautiful coin. TYIA
