what bothers you w/the current CU set up? me: bookmark

KollectorKingKollectorKing Posts: 4,820 ✭✭✭✭✭

I have never ever bookmarked a discussion, post or anything, and yet from time when I sign on w/my phone or public PC, bingo there is a notification, and it takes me to a "bookmarked", discussion, post that I have no interest in.

Anyone else has that irritation?

any solution, or just grin and bear it?

:)

I have this problem with bookmark too, but it is a 'fat fingers' problem - I hit that star thingie with my index finger when I don't want to hit it or even mean to hit it. My fault, not the system's fault.

I am old, my vision isn't perfect, my finger sometimes misses whatever and I hit the star when I don't mean to. I also often hit the star when scrolling up or down the page.

So, I hit the star thingie again and it goes away.

    No harm, no foul.

Sorry -- I was making a facetious comment -- a very small joke shared by anyone who has managed software development. ;)

The PM paradigm doesn't appear to be the most efficient or intuitive. Also, once in a while many of the images uploaded to the PCGS site refuse to show for me, which only happens on this PCGS site and does not happen on any other site at any other time.

I have problems with receiving certain Images, but it seems that if people avoid black or very dark backgrounds and if they crop their photographs, it all helps. Still, some things simply won't load, or can take several minutes to load.

Speaking of pms, does everyone know that there is a limit of 50 pms?
Not sure if the limit applies to: 50 individuals or 50 messages.
I had to delete "tons" of old messages before I can send new ones. :(

I haven't used a mouse in at least a decade.

Haven't used a laptop in over four and one-half years (last Feb. 2013).

And I'm hardly on the cutting edge of technology.

I have not had any issues.... well, about once every two months or so, I have to sign in.... but that is only a minor annoyance .... no problem with PM's....I just answer and then forget them... ;) Cheers, RickO
