Mirror Finish 1996 D Nickel

I've just started getting into coin collecting and I decided to go through my nearly full piggy bank to see if I had anything special. This was the only thing I found besides a wheat penny. It caught my eye because of the hundreds of Nickels I went through none of them including the 2017's had a sheen like on this 1996 D nickel. The sheen on it looks a lot like the 1997 P Special Satin finish. I'm hoping it was made on a 1997 special planchet but I'm hoping some of you might know something about it. It's a little light but probably within the limit. Is this a find or just a really shiny nickel?
