This really looks like strike doubling to me.
Thank you Mr.Snow- after all the research I'm now addicted to the Flying Eagle. Did not see any remnants of the 57 die just strike doubling as afford said. Sending to PCGS this week and hopefully i'll get the FS-901 reverse.

I think FE varieties are very addicting. I think I have one from the same dies you are showing, but the dies are not a Snow variety.
Just got mine back from PCGS. I do not think its anything special but you folks can look at the TrueView and tell me if it is. I was just after an original LL variety.

Looks to be the large letters with a low leaf reverse. A bit of a rarer die pairing if I am not mistaken.
