    They don't look like it. Go on the Internet and look up Doubled Die coins. There are all sorts of things that look similar yet are common and not worth much.

    It would also help if you gave the date/MM for coins you show. There are many known DD that people can reference against.

    If no known die exists like the one you are showing, it becomes less likely that yours is a DD, (though not impossible...everyone had a discovery coin!). On the other hand, if a known die exists, it's possible compare your coin to the known attributes and do some confirmation.

    The heavy lettering would be indicative of a double die, but tough to tell from the photos provided. Dates?

    Looks to be post Mint damage rather than any type of mechanical doubling.

    No, those are definitely not doubled die strikes. What you have is a coin with machine doubling ... not a coin struck from a doubled die. Sorry.

    @Dagingerbeasttt..... Welcome aboard.... Yes, mechanical doubling... do not be discouraged, it is a learning process.....check the internet sites (i.e. coppercoins)) and get the CherryPickers Guide... Cheers, RickO
