I don't see damage but listed as such, and is it a re-engraved WA?

  I'm puzzled by 'damage' simply because it does not jump out and say "here I am"...and I think those are the original AAW initials and not re-engraved.

  The front of the eagles trailing leg looks....odd? It's not the intended feathers, and not the normal weakly struck surface...almost looks worked? (I may be grasping at straws....)

  The initials do not look reengraved to me either.

  looks like pitting / corrosion (old PVC?) on obverse field right and reverse on top of left wing and above AR of dollar. nice half otherwise
