Thought on whether or not any of these would green bean?

Just curious as to thoughts on these for the grade. Wondering if they got the low MS grades as net due to issues.

You’re guess is better than mine since you can assess the luster with them in hand
Yes......looks like a 62+

I think I can guess pretty well what will CAC on copper (dont agree always but understand it) and Nickel and Silver pieces but am mystified on gold. I went 0 fer on my low grade gold.
Definite yes.
No.
Probable yes.
Definite no ... looks overgraded.
Gold on the first. Hit and miss on the rest.
Oh, and now that I have proved i cant do this
heres my guess:

The $2 1/2s should the $5 looks puttied.
The first $2 1/2 definitely the Indian looking closest has pvc growth on both sides.
PVC is inert on gold so it's not harmful, just not sure if it would sticker?
The 1878 Quarter Eagle will sticker.... not sure on the rest, cannot judge the luster, pictures a tad blurry... Cheers, RickO
From my eye in hand, the luster on two of them is 'ok' not great, and on the other two is a bit subdued. I assume any pvc could contribute to a drop in luster. I would hate to crack any out to address PVC, I am not sure any value change would cover the grading fees to get them holdered again.
the 1906-S $5 appears to have something wrong with it.
as for the others, i agree with @tradedollarnut
The PVC on the Indian is minimal and you could sell that as is.
A lot of the gold being slabbed and sold in Europe has active PVC on it.
The $5 if putty will need to be soaked in acetone.
I agree. It shows a fingerprint on obverse in a way I have not seen on gold before.
JA ? Someone's calling.

The fingerprint could be on putty not the coin and hazed as it turned.
I cracked out the 06 s and have it in acetone. We will see what happens.
