Oh boy, three days at the Cabin!!!

No coins, no phone and no internet!!!! It's an annual trip so I know I'll survive but I'll probably be jones-ing by the time I get back home. On the plus side, there will be Cable so we can watch MLB playoffs, but did I say there will be no coins to goof around with??

Oh, the Humanity...........................

Al, the surrounding nature should be more than enough 'color' - and it is not AT.....I never miss coins when I am out in the mountains, caves or shooting. I totally immerse myself in the different activities that help to keep me active and young - at heart Yesterday we taught a class of 24 women to handle firearms and shoot (Women on Target)..... Great time... Of the three women (there were multiple instructors) assigned to me, who had never handled or shot a handgun.... were, by the end of the day, grouping shots in three inch (or less) groups. Lots of fun, and did not think of coins at all. Cheers, RickO

Have been enjoying a 5 day weekend at the cabin, watching the 1%-ers cruise by and laying up some firewood. Splitting wood is better than going to the gym.

@keets, Enjoy. One of my favorites is winter camping, my tent in my woods far behind my home. I get a bunch of hay bales from my farmer friend and tent is set upon them. Keeps everything nice, dry and cozy!

Fall is fun for me as well....it's hunting time (although I no longer do it, I did for many decades).
This is my first buck, 1961, Winchester Featherweight Model 70, .308. Nice four point that I shot just west of Carson City at the top of the mountains in the background. Coin go on the back burner for a couple of weeks.....good for the freezer and good for the soul!

Nice. Love the cabin life. Here's the view from ours near Tahoe that's been in the family since the 50s. Haven't been able to make it up in a while though

I would find it extremely difficult to stay away from such a paradise and with such a great view.

I used to have one of those cool wood slab displays with 7 slots. I'll be damned if I can find where it went. At least I know it was empty when I last saw it.
