These are really a bad buy. The pieces could have been purchased cheaper than this set. 2017 Silver Mint Set $48
2017 Congratulations Set $55
Total Cost $103
This set is $140 for less coins.
The only reason to buy is if you need the Eagle for a registry set.

Where is the congrats set for sale now at $55?
The dealers bought plenty of them, they have no need for this set. If they mint were smart they would have discontinued this set years ago. They should have produced a 2 coin proof set.

They are smart. They created a situation where a stupid congratulations set sold out in record time and now a stupid LFPC set will also probably sell out quickly. Brilliance!

100 minutes and counting...
Even if it's a week that's a fast sellout for these.

I don't know about that. The EU set sold out in 6 minutes (225,000 of them) and look where they are now. Yes, yes, yes...I know. HHL of 2 etc. etc. But so did the gold Merc Dime and it pseudo-sold out in less time.
You won't see massive returns with these sets, though, which will likely sell out well before the EU sets.

Oh, I think that's true. But I'm more interested in the long term pricing. Since the 2017-S ASE is already down to $80 for 69s, the rest of this set isn't worth $70.
Most of these Mint products can be purchased in OGP for less then issue price later on. Time will tell.

4 hours after the fact and no sell out yet.
I'm thinking that these are getting a serious dissing but with a low mintage coin, they should bounce back.
But then, maybe the SAE Series is getting "old"?

I think it's just that the price is pretty much "all the money" for the ASE. You've got a little over $22 in silver and the ASE. That means you are basically paying $120 for the ASE. That's pretty much full value on the ASE, or maybe over. If you only want an ASE for your album, you can buy ANACS 69s for $80 and ANACS 70s for $100 on eBay so $120 is too much for just the ASE.
I believe there is a simple reason why these sets did not sell out today. Anyone that wants to know the answer can send Justin an email at justin@monstercoinmart.com and if you have been nice to me and Justin in the past (only joking), he will tell you the "secret answer" in a private email back to you

Just got an email from Mint saying limit lifted... Checked on how many can get.."Your quantity has been reduced to 100, due to product limit within single purchase." ... Did get a couple more.
At this point I don't see much downside, they are still selling on fleabay for more than cost + fees while still available from the Mint. Once they reach sellout, things might get better, I'm in for 15.....we'll see how it goes.

I will buy 10 of those at 55 bucks do we have a deal?

I tried to buy 2 more and they told me I reached my household limit.

Ebay has some for sale but they want $200.00 + I think I will just be satisfied with 2 sets.

Got the "Shipped"email. Next day after going on sale being shipped has become the norm for this fulfillment company.
Household limit is off if you want more
I wonder if bulk dealers can see if it's below 10k now.....
Don't quote me on that.
Yes, it has been lifted. Looks like they want a better sales number. Will be watching for a first day figure to be reported.

Limit lifted in record time..
I never would have dreamed that the US Mint would have such difficulty in selling 50,000 sets?
I understand the trepidation that people have about paying for the extra packaging but sheesh! Only 125,000 2017-S SAE's?
Oh well.
