I spent too much money on coins this week.....and I only bought two.
Should have pics later to post. :smile:

Anyone else have this problem? :smile:

    I bought 4 major error coins so far this week.

    All with excellent eye appeal and all way below wholesale, IMO.

    I have narrowed my buying down to only the above.

    I'd like to spend more on plastic (white rattlers, Doilies, etc) but no one's offering...... :D

    Yes, I did. It all revolved around a little gathering of like minded enthusiasts at a local seaside village here in sunny SoCal this weekend. Spent all the cash, wrote checks, and after all of that, I still owe a considerable amount to that nice man who trusts me enough to walk out the door with the goods on the promise of recieving even more payment in the not to distant future. He always tells me, " I know you're good for it." What a Prince!

    As an aside, when I returned home Thursday evening from my busy day at the "Coin-Fest," There she was. The lovely and oh so faithful Mr. Hydrant, doing her duty. Slinging hash over a hot stove in preparation of serving me my dinner. I pulled up a chair at the table, poured myself a cold one, and began explaining EVER so graciously to her about what a splendid, astute, and oh so brilliant collector and investor that she had the good fortune to be living with. I told her how much money I spent. I even told her how much I still owed to the nice trusting Prince. After I finished filling her in on all of my wonderful and stupendous accomplishments of the previous afternoon, she turned to me, and with the most lovely, doe eyed expression, she simply said, in the most soothing and melodious of tone, "Whatever makes you happy. That's what's important." True story. How did I get so lucky?

    I spend to much money on every coin I buy. This is why I am slowing down my purchases. That and hurricanes.

    Me too. I'm trying to make the transition to taking better photos of my existing coins, but somehow my time is spent on new coins ;)
