32 S Washington legit or added S?

Hey all. Was just curious if my 32 S is legit? The S looks weird to me. Don't have any other pics. Sorry

I say added 'S'. It looks like a completely wrong style.

From just the image, genuine. Note the homogeneous color of the reverse surface.

Looks good to me. The S always sits in a depression!

It looks real. On a genuine 32 D or S there is a depression in the metal around the mintmark that makes the D or S look like it is floating on water, and yours has that look.

I'd say it's good. Here is one in similar shape that I pulled out of a junk bin at a pawn shop. As other's have said, look for the basin around the MM. Also another good sign is all the gunk around the MM. Most of the added MM's are very clean looking and just don't look like they belong.

The rule that I learned is that if it looks fake, it is usually good

That looks like a well used, authentic '32S..... Cheers, RickO
