My Dear Mother-in-Law passed away

MICHAELDIXONMICHAELDIXON Posts: 6,733 ✭✭✭✭✭

For those of you who have been around the shows I put on, you probably saw my mother-in-law, Herlinda Torres Morales, who lived with us. She passed away on August 12 and things have been hectic. I apologize to those who I was late shipping to. She was born July 23, 1924.

Some of you might remember the story of me showing her an old Mexican silver coin and whenever I came back she had scrubbed it with Comet. I made her a necklace with a 1924 Peace dollar and she loved it. Whenever I first started putting on Coin Shows she made the table cloths. I have to say that Momma could cook!

People used to kid me about Fred Flintstone saying: "I love my mother in law. I love my mother in law." Honestly, I can say I loved my mother in law!

I'll miss her, but I know she did not suffer and is in Heaven.

Fall 2026 National Battlefield Coin Show September 11 & 12, 2026 at the Eisenhower Hotel Ballroom, Gettysburg, PA. Early Bird passes Thursday September 10, 2026 from Noon to 5pm $25 each. WWW.AmericasCoinShows.com

Mother-in-law it's just a title.. it does not begin to describe how close we can be with some people in our lives.

I always got along with my mother-in-law real well also. She died much too young 39 years ago at the age of 60. I'm sorry for your loss.

2017 is not a good year so far. I hope things get better for you and yours, as soon as possible.
