2017 225th American Liberty silver medal

I order 2 of these last week and just got them today. One I'm having to send back because of a scratch on the coin. The other one appears fine, but not sure if its 70 quality. Has anyone sent these in for grading and what kind of results have you got? Anyone else have to send one of these back for same issue?

If you're interested in getting one slabbed as a 70 maybe you should have ordered 10 ... or better yet - 20. Send in the best one or two. Return the others.

Success ? Maybe .... maybe not.

Aiming for 70's is sometimes a hard game to play.

Wow, I like issues like this and the gold in OGP. Well, good luck on getting 70s.

I have only returned one coin to the mint... a proof ASE with a prominent scratch in the obverse field.... it was replaced, no hassle....Cheers, RickO

good, I want it replaced, not simply returned, but I didn't see that as an option when choosing to return it....maybe I missed it...

When I returned it (and this was quite a few years ago), I simply asked for it to be replaced due to damage. Two weeks after I mailed it, I received the replacement ASE... in perfect condition. Cheers, RickO
