1959 Franklin BS Strike Proof Reverse

I've been looking for a nice one, for sometime now .
High over low relief eagle doubled die reverse ( FS-801 ) .
Here's a good article by Mr. Potter .

Correct .. Just a proof reverse ..
That's cool Rick- didn't know about the high/low relief. Just checked mine- I have two type 2's in '59, and a type 1 and type 2 in '58. The '59 that I just purchased in a set has semi-proof like field hence struck from proof dies. Thanks for posting- I'll keep an eye out for the FS-801.
I occasionally would come across one of these in roll searches in the early 1960's. At the time I thought it was a third variety.
I see that attributed MS64's are going for $50 and up. Are circulated specimens worth any premium?
My Adolph A. Weinman signature

Are circulated specimens worth any premium?
Sure, why not .
If the price is right, you can make money off of any coin .
Perhaps struck with a proof die
