    Low pressure strike, more appropriately.

    Grade means nothing. The TPGs assign a grade sometimes, and other times they don't. The criteria for which does not seem to be defined. It's probably easier to enter a grade into the system than try to bypass it, as there is likely a control in their data-enry process.

    I'd say $175+ considering that it is a bicentennial design. The grade was not a factor in my estimate, by the way.

    Obviously the grade assigned is not for MS coins.... One could consider it to be an MS62 within 'Die Adjust. Strike category.... :D;) Cheers, RickO

    IMO assigning a grade to this coin is stupid and it has always annoyed me. On a blank/planchet or low pressure/die adjustment strike there is no way to account for pre-strike planchet imperfections and it is difficult at best to determine if/how long the coin circulated. They should simply be attributed and certified as "Genuine". Only fully struck errors should be assigned a numerical grade.

    I'm addicted to exonumia ... it is numismatic crack!
