I have decided to sell off some of my Dimes. After a long deliberation I had to choose which series of Dimes to sell. I decided on the Seated series. I put this on the BS&T also and here is a link to the set. Any serious offers will be considered. Thanks in advance.

Hard to stick to, but I've seen this situation too many times.
I'd suggest using the coins as COLLATERAL for a loan if you really want to keep them.

I'm sorry to hear you must part with those coins. Looking at the set registry, they all seem very choice in nice "collector grades." I think you will do well, thanks to your good eye.
@DIMEMAN , I'm sorry to hear you need to sell, but If it is any consolation, I believe we are simply custodians of those things we like to collect and there will always come a time when we have to part ways with the things we love and perhaps the best that we can hope for is that the next owner will appreciate them as much or more. I am a collector just like you so I am only charged for coins that sticker. FWIW... I had to do this some years back as the result of a job change. Postdocs just don't make the money that Program Managers do. Fast forward 5 years... Assistant Professors make about the same as Program Managers. I've now started back to collecting again, albeit at a much slower pace. Before all of this, I recall having to sell a bunch of Morgan Dollars to satisfy a tax bill. It happens... best of luck!

What an awful time for you. I went though that years ago when I had to go back to graduate school. I didn't have to sell stuff, but I could not buy anything, and I let my subscriptions to all numismatic publications, including the Gray Sheet, lapse.
I'm genuinely sorry to hear this. You are one of the gentlemen of the hobby. This must be very difficult, but I understand that many things in life are more important...

Wow, you have all the varieties in the list!
Just missing the 6 keys.
The only registry collection with a higher completion % than yours is missing 5 varieties in the 1870s-1890s.
The 6 keys I am missing .....I had at one time then sold them back in 2005 when I thought I was thru collecting. I just never got them back. Same with the 16-D Merc I had in PCGS62.
Can you get them pedigreed and then CACed?

Putting now three kids and more thru college is the demise of my collection. It happens. As noted above, nothing is forever and some things are more important.
Agree that all collections get sold eventually to include the Smithsonian's. It just sucks when it isn't on your terms.
I read on the forum recently a good perspective that might help that most of us really collect pictures and invoices while our dark and seldom visited SDBs collect coins.
My best hope for a good guy (with poor taste in football) is that the coins pull you through what ever bump has come across your path. In that case what a blessing your passion truly will be.

I would buy some to help you out (and I don't even collect them), but...to maximize your funds the en bloc sale or auction is the best. I will tell you I don't think most of these would last 5 minutes on a dealer early-bird list.
