I am looking for an 1835 and an 1838-P quarter eagle in PCGS AU-55 to 58. I will consider pieces in MS-60 through 62. I am not interested in coins that have been dipped or cleaned. In other words, I don't want a "white gold" example. PCGS graded only. The ideal coins should look something like this. This piece is a PCGS AU-55.
Or if it is Mint State something like this. This is a PCGS MS-62.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I'd buy au55 coins like that anytime!
Yes, I have paid some high premiums for them. This coin didn't look that good in the photo when it was in Gary Adkins' inventory. I have shown it here because some of the other AUs I have did not photograph well or in the case of an MS-60 coin, is flat out over graded.
