just upgraded my Mercury dime set

What I am learning is upgrading can get costly, but worth it, if you want to improve your set.
Picked up a 1927-S in MS65FB to replace my MS64FB.
Angel Dee's sure has some nice coins.
I passed on the 1945 MS65FB he had.
Getting permission from my wife on the 1927-S was enough for me!

I made a typo the replaced dime was a MS63FB not a MS64FB

Congrats on the upgrade, Pat! Angel Dee's does indeed have nice coins plus Andy is just a very pleasant guy to talk with.
That's a smart idea to get permission first.. I think I'm going to try that. Probably a lot less painful than trying to answer "Did our bank account get hacked?"
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Or maybe look at an other set.
This dime set was started over 50 years ago, long time and soooo many upgrades.
That is one heck of a upgrade. 27D and 27s are very very tough.
