I vote 3keepSECRETif2rDEAD as one of the best names on any coin forum! Unfortunately, that's a lot of typing to log on.

    1. EagleEye. I always liked Rick's choice as a name and business.
    2. Coinguy1. I always liked Feld. Plus being a descendant of Max B. Mehl was just "cool".

Correct me if I'm wrong. But hey, it's about favored names, right ? LOL.

Thanks, I'll bet "PokingtheBear" is still available and it is a good one!

Agree, "Eagle Eye" is a great name for a great numismatist!

@ColonelJessup is is a piece of work; but he knows his field of expertise. I'll bet he could write a best selling book called "Confessions of a ...fill in the blank. I believe "Coin Dealer" and "Car Salesman" have already been written.

While I have tried to redeem myself by performing random acts of kindness and senseless beauty for the last decade or so, I've been typecast since Tom Cruise played me in "Interview with the Vampire". >:)

@DonWillis bammed me about 48 hours after I started posting here.
Twelve hours after that, @MrEureka, who got me into the mess in the first place, emailed me that old snapshot, and I instantly knew the name of my alt :*

My vote is for @Insider2. Why? Because he's is saying that he's an insider, as well. So he has to prove it so you know he's going to drop some juicy information to out do the original Insider.

And so the quest continues.... the unanswerable question - posed as an opinion - garners responses only mildly related to the query and - since it is an opinion, much like coin grades, can be discussed ad infinitum. ;) Cheers, RickO

I'm fairly sure it would not be viewed as sucking up to note @HomeRunHall is not a crack-out artist, but earned his Forum name crushing curve balls. B)

Actually, you figured it out. The real Insider posts on another site. He is NOT a real "insider" and I'm not either but the wise guy likes to pretend he is. I copied his name and registered on CU so he could not use it if he ever joins us here...LOL.

There are a lot of really neat "names" on the various forums. I think I'll post some more when I get time.

I have been poking around this forum for only a few weeks, and I still don't know everyone name/handle. But from what I understand, there is only one universally accepted way to end each post on these boards. Cheers, RickO.

That's a good one but it might be a little too presumptuous for all but a dozen numismatists in the country.

"I can't remember" is one already taken. I liked "Ordinary Fool" too as it fit the member using it.
