Somebody made a BOO-BOO,,,,,,,,, I can't believe that APMEX would list that mistake for sale,,,,,,
That's a photoshop hack job. Look at the edges of the coin - you see raised, clear plastic tines holding the coin. And the edges of those tines do not match with the tines shown on the actual slab.
--> photohacks
I sent a note asking what the actual auction is for.
Somebody isn't paying attention,,,,,,, APMEX describes it as a VF30 785 Nova Constellatio Copper, Large Date and Pointed Rays variety coin while showing it in a MS70 Gold Eagle Holder,,,,,,,
I wonder if that coin is even in that holder with that label or if ????????????

That is what I was thinking also but you wouldn't think that APMEX would be in such a hurry to list a coin that they didn't have in-hand yet that they would need to photo shop something just to list it quicker,,,,,

Strange,,,,,,,,,,,
I see APMEX listings like this all the time. They Photoshop pictures of coins into pictures from slabs for all of their listings and sometimes they don't match up.
I humbly request assistance in figuring out what this response from APMEX means...

"The photo of this coin and slab are very confusing. You have a nova constellatio on a slab for an ASE.
In fact, the photo looks to be a back photoshop job.
What would I receive if I were to purchase this particular auction?"

That is so radically out of place, I would deem it a marketing ploy to get attention.... Cheers, RickO

Thanks for posting this. I was going to buy a Merc from them but after seeing that they use Stock Pictures I backed off Big Time.

Here's the image. Definitely a conversation starter.
This coin is not a widget! Why are they using stock photos?!
Like mt_msla said- It's a total photochop.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
