I don't know one generation of ANACS slab from another but 21D cleaned morgans are worth about 15$ at most now . But if they are older holders submitted back when silver was 6 or 8 bucks an ounce that would be just tragic . People bidding $25 for them now have to be idiots . I don't think there are shill bidders involved because the seller is putting the word cleaned right in the title. If he was inclined to shill it would work better to crack them out and sell them raw , then goose the price with shills
I am surprised at the prices... even with the description(s)...However, the antique shops around here get much, much more for raw Morgans... and people buy them. Not real coin collectors - well - for the most part. There are the occasional VAM's that get picked up, even at the inflated prices.... Cheers, RickO

Current bids from dealers would be in the $12.5 to $13 for problem dollars. Might get a a few dollars more for high grade Pre21 problem coins. Wholesale dealers are bidding $14.50 for problem coins.

I really hope those are shills. I couldn't get that kind of money for those coins on eBay without all the problems.

Looks like tuition prices are going up this year for some of us.
That's amazing he's getting that sort of action, though.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
That is because 99 cent start auction work. Bids generate interest and thus more bids.
I run 99 cent start auction every week and they always do really well.

I see submissions on the shared order page like that with some regularity. Makes me wonder why share those anyway??
You might say, he's got an eye for details.

"Liquidating large estate". Evokes images of "Lifestyles of the rich and famous". Too bad there isn't a voice over from Robin Leach.

He's got more of a "Beagle Eye", with a great attention to "Details". Ouch...
