I'm having a bad day with my Dansco albums. First off I have a generic Dansco album with pages for my cents, nickels, dimes, etc. From overuse some of the pages are separating (the top finish paper is separating from the cardboard underneath) and its really annoying. So I had the bright idea of using super glue to reattach the top finish layer to the cardboard underneath. First off I glued all around the edges thus blocking me from being able to put in the clear slides. Secondly after I carefully separating the now glued together pages (causing damage to the pages) I put the slides back in too soon and there is now that indelible white superglue residue on the edges of the slides. After kicking myself in the @ss, I was looking at my dansco 7070 type set after I had sprayed Menthol muscle pain spray on my arm, I touched my arm to the cover of the album and it took off the simulated leather finish where I touched it. Luckily it was only on the edge of the front cover, but I am pissed off! So now, considering I like my things tidy and neat, it looks like I'm in the game on purchasing a few generic Dansco pages and possibly a new 7070 album.
Sorry, rant over, just had to get that off my chest. Luckily no coins were harmed in this disaster.

Considering the menthol spray took the finish of my album, I am really questioning what it is truly doing to my skin. I will probably be dying soon from skin cancer. As Ozzy put it, "See you on the other side."

Bummer man. Fortunately, the 7070 is available again, so you won't pay an arm and a leg for it!
Reminds me of something I learned in Chemistry class...Malathion, a very commonly used high-volume mosquito control agent, is the only member of it's entire class of chemical compounds that does not cause cancer. You all believe that, right?
LOL. Be thankful the album isn't permanently attached to your hand. Superglue makes for all kinds of fun adventures.
Its probably a good thing that most of the best coins are now protected by little plastic cocoons.

...this is why I got married...then problems like these aren't really problems anymore...the glass is half full, so go and tell the wife you need the rest of the week with yourself to fix your "problem."
As soon as I have the slightest indication of such a day, I head for the woods... at least halfway up the mountain, no trails.... a couple of PBJ sandwiches, canteen, two handguns and a hunters seat for comfort. By the time I come out of the forest, all is well.
