That is one messed up looking dime.
Very cool!!!
Later, Paul.
Nice eye appeal
Looks like it circulated for quite a while before being pulled. People clearly don't look at their change much anymore.
I like it!
Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.
I know how to make it pinker!
nice one.
Yours?

That is interesting .... Part of the clad layer missing.... strange it circulated so much. Cheers, RickO
Don't think it circulated, needs an acetone dip residue from old holder discolored head
@Smittys....Really? Looking at all the tiny dings/pits, I thought it had been circulated...both sides show them. ICBW... Cheers, RickO
Wild!
Here's a bump with a Roosevelt that cracks me up ......
Boy.....they used that die a little too long.
That die got much, much worse. That is an early stage of the shattered die.
Marks that were originally on the planchet were not completely erased as a result of lower striking pressure due to the reduced thickness of the planchet in the effected area.
That is a very cool error. The only clad coins I collect are like that one.
The title of your thread made me think of a Roosie I recently picked up.
Here's a rosy cheeked Roosie..

I agree with a few others. I thin k it's basically unc.
