Is this a 1918/7-D Buffalo?

Hi folks,
I can't tell if my eyes are playing tricks on me with this coin. Does this look like a regular 1918-D or a 1918/7-D?

Im no expert, but it could be. Someone here will surely have the answer.
I do not think it is the 18/17.... I do see an aberration of sorts in your first picture... I think it is wear/handling... Cheers, RickO
I think it is -although acid etched COINFacts pic

It looks like it to me because of the filling on the bottom circle of the eight.
Yes
That's an affirmative.
Yup. Two moons facing each other, but definitely acid bathed...
Of course, without the acid bath, you probably couldn't make out the date at all...

Looks like the Mintmark lines up.........I believe I see the diagnostic die crack...............
I think you got one.
Pete
Probably the overdate, but not certainly.
The only thing I can say for sure is that this nickel has been bathed in acid. I can't see anything beyond that.
But, if Pete, ( Iron tail) thinks it is I'll go with that. Good question though
Looks good, but the date has been restored. Actually I think the restorer hit the entire obverse so as to make it less obvious. You can get that into a details holder and it should be worth a few hundred bucks even in that condition.

I don't think the top is flat enough to be the overdate. I have an acid treated one that is no better than G4 detail and the flat top is visible.
I do believe that you got something there.
