2000-D Millenium Sac $ with Strike Thru a Net Grade ?

Here is my dilemma . I have this Sac error still in the C&C pkg. If I send it in for grading ? Will PCGS subtract a grade because of the "Damage" ? Not assign a grade? I looked at the file pictures here for a 68 .I am not a grader and Very Hard to tell in the plastic but in hand under 10X It looks a solid 68 or 68+. It's very clean.Reverse has a small tic on the rim.Sorry for the crappy photos.Best what I can get thru the plastic.Won't really know until it is out of the pkg. Under what category to submit ? Much obliged for your input.

Nice coin and error. I would leave it in the packaging.
The coin is not damaged so PCGS would not grade it as damaged.
If you pay for the error cert, then it will grade as an error.
The coin would have to be submitted under the mint error level or it will be graded as details
Worth more in the set.That is what I was thinking . If I rip it out and it only grades a 67.I ruined the value of the set. at 68 I break even.
But if it was a 69 ,(not likely) 7K .Me thinks I will put it back in the Vault for another decade.
the 7k would not apply to this coin since it has the strike through.
Oh, What is the highest grade an error has gotten .Not counting Double Dies
I'm not talking about an error coin grade.
I'm saying you can't take a 69 price for a non-error coin and think an error coin in the same grade will be worth the same price.

Unique strike through, I would keep it as is.... not worth playing the grading game IMO... Cheers, RickO
