Recommend some good online dealers?

Hey guys,
Been shopping Darkside coins for a while now and I'm pretty sure I've seen everything here in our classifieds and everything on Ebay.
Any recommendations for on-line coin dealers with up to date websites? Love to see dealer prices when they aren't hamstrung by travel expenses or auction fees.
Thanks in advance,
Steve

CRO (as mentioned), Atlas (www.atlasnumismatics.com), Northeast (as mentioned) would be my go to's in that order.
CRO has consistently very high quality pieces, Atlas has a broad breadth and range of quality and countries specializing in world coins. NEN has a broad range but not as broad and expansive as Atlas.

The dealers recommended thus far are quite good, but what does "Love to see dealer prices when they aren't hamstrung by travel expenses or auction fees" actually mean? After all, and if I am interpreting the line correctly, unless someone is having fresh to the market coins sourced locally or has coins shipped to them worldwide, it would seem that all coins have these overheads baked into them to one extent or another.

I'm sure you're right. But eBay coins have one more eBay fee added to them compared to direct sales without the fee.

There are a number of collector/dealers who post here who have great world and ancient coin inventories. Some even have their ebay & website links in their signatures
FWIW, I doubt many dealers take their overhead into consideration when pricing coins, nor should they. Overhead is a sunk cost. All that matters when pricing coins is what they can get and how fast they can get it.

I understand that completely, but I am just not sure how one teases out all the expenses that everyone incurs at every level of participation from any given price. After all, most folks likely would not be selling coins for any length of time if they always ran in the red because they never took the sunk costs into consideration.

I think some of us collectors (especially me), will often be willing to take a loss on a coin just to buy the next one. Once in a while I get lucky, and I'm the guy buying from the impatient seller.

Agree with the recommendations of Coin Rarities Online (CRO), Atlas Numismatics and Northeast Numismatics.
Would also add Michael Kittle Rare Coins, Aspen Park Rare Coins (heavy in ancients) and World Numismatics LLC (formerly Mexican Coin Company). Thomas Bush also has some really nice world coins (Newfoundland seems a specialty).

@cecropiamoth Thanks for the recommendation, much appreciated.
I too have bought from most of the other dealers recommended here.
Regarding pricing, I know my eBay listing prices certainly include some extra room to cover the selling fees and usually a little room to be able to work with folks when they send offers. I'm always open to discussing any of my coins with anyone interested.
Thanks again!

So is it bad form to ask these recommended dealers to share their ebay usernames? You know...so I can follow them on ebay.
It will give me a better feeling of security if I buy something raw.

I much appreciate being included in this list of quality dealers. I don't list coins on ebay, but I have my own website and it's in my signature line. You may always send me an email or a PM if you would like to discuss something privately.

We have our own website as well as an eBay store, and yes, we bake the fees and "free shipping" into the eBay store price, so always check our website for the lowest price. Shipping to PCGS forums members is also free, just select the option at checkout and put your username in the "Additional Instructions" box.
