The only thing I could find out was that the medal was struck under the mint master of Bern, Christian Fueter, probably in the early 19th century.

Neat! The figure on the obverse seemed familiar and I realized that the style made me think of the Nederlandse maagd on the circa 1700s 3 gulden coins which have always been a favorite of mine.

Lovely. I too went a-Googling briefly, but mostly down a rabbit-hole regarding the significance of palms as a symbol. I know that goes back to Classical times.
