Not a bad profit target of +70%. For actual coins that traded hands and sold check out GC archives. You can find one very similar to your coin. Range typically $450-$550 retail. High end, GSA, special pieces are treated differently. NGC CAC for $485 last November. If you're paying $850+, better make sure it comes in a GSA pack.
Check Heritage auctions pricing, seems to be the industry standard, try to find a similar coin. $850 is high, $500 is retail
as far as my humble opinion goes. Regards, Sol

Fair to you, or the dealer, or both?? In hand, or blind? With tarnish or without? For me, not in hand, $500. Cheers, RickO
$850 Retail / $500 offer from dealer on bourse. My best offer would probably be $500 with target retail $850.
Coin would have to be brilliant, well struck, super luster - no unattractive toning or spots.
What is CAC's bid level for the coin?
I'm with ricko on this one, sight unseen I'd be at $450-$500. Which means I probably wouldn't be buying it, lol

It all depends upon which side of the table you sit on. Different answers for the sam coin.
Just thought I'd post a pic for reference.
