@Justacommeman Based on Geckser's pms, his departure was well justified. Indeed, it almost seems he was trying to commit bamming by mod. As far as Fellintooblivion, I just don't get it. Why stalk someone just to click "disagree"? You would think there are better things to do with one's time.
I wonder if anyone else involuntarily left this veil of tears?

As for gecko/geckster/etc, I am sure he will just come back as ANOTHER ALT. Certain types always do....they can't abide by the rules of the forum, because those rules don't pertain to them, but they MUST come back to the forums as they are too important to stay away.

Only Insider2 could find offense with it. Looks like another member is trying to follow in Fellini's Phantom Footsteps.
Check out the two members posting disagrees on my threads. One is gone and the other is still allowed to post. I don't mind "disagrees" but now I'm going to Email "The Man" about this person. IMO, he should have been bumped with the other minion.
Now the abuse button will be hit each time? LOL. I can see once in a while since most of his answers are tainted with Smart***, but every single time? That is commitment!

Younger sure...but not necessarily female. A lot of the 'younger folk' (gawd I'm getting old) use 'Mom' and use the female avatars online. Shoot half my oldest sons' friends have female avatars on the video games I happen to see them playing. My son explained the characters were 'cooler'. These are college age 'kids' (edited to add, and in college).

It has to do with our changing culture. In the past, it was clothes and music also. Unfortunately there have been more significant changes recently.
LordM and Aethelred started it with later help from dadams, primarily on the darkside (world/ancients) but lots of litesiders (US) participated too.
Basically a theme would be chosen and the 'cointestants' had to buy a coin within a certain modest budget and folks would vote on the better buy--which meant whatever the voter wanted--with the gladiators anonymous until after the final tally. Fell by the wayside around the time we moved to the new boards. None of them post as much here.
I was victorious on the XIIth (and IIRC the final) event...failed my first attempt.

Back to the OP body count, I was expecting those two. One for publishing the contents of PMs which IIRC is a bit against the rules (and probably not helped by the over usage of the disagree button, though I notice that by itself does not seem to be a disqualifier). The second, well that was obvious.
Neat contest. Close but I also picked #2. For $20 anyone can play. I hope they do others. One for tokens, one for dimes etc. I'm going to try to post an ancient Greek bronze I bought at a show last month for $12 in the junk box. I don't know what it is but I liked it and it is genuine. LOL.
