I have seen and had 4 oz ones that were 4.39 troy ounces. Was not unhappy at all.

Thanks guys. Not my speciality. Don't want to abuse the buy and sell but let me know if you know of anyone that is in the market for these things.

Some of these "half pound" notes are 6 ounces and some are 8, and many are silver-plated copper.

I have never purchased any of these.... I am sure there are collectors for this silver product... However, for stacking, they do not seem to have the liquidity of ASE's. Cheers, RickO

A Troy pound has 12 Troy ounces while an Avoirdupois pound has 16 Avoirdupois ounces. Troy units are only for precious metals while Avoirdupois units are used for everything else. Confused yet?

That is why I was asking....not sure if troy pound or standard.

I am pretty sure that they are 8 oz. they are not plated.

Check eBay and Amazon. Electronic scales are extremely accurate and fairly inexpensive.
