Product packing from the mint
I received my shipment from the Mint and the packaging was so bad I can't believe it happened.
Is there no quality control in the shipping department?

That is unusual... I have never had a Mint shipment with poor packaging. Was it damaged? Or just flimsy/inferior packaging? Cheers, RickO
The coin were not damaged, but the packaging (a few) were not in like new shape.
Just very disappointed.
Keep in mind I order 75 to 100 at a time.
Some come in boxes and the remainder were just put in the box haphazardly
looks like a child did it. I believe the customer service and shipping people are NOT mint employees, but cheap contract workers.
The mint needs to oversee these workers!
I agree, last several orders I've received were packaged very poorly.
Coins able to bounce around in box with one small piece of bubble wrap.
I have complained numerous times to no avail.

Looks like there is NO supervision!
I agree with that. I can remember when everything came from Philly, never had any problems.
Ordered a Commem last year or year before. When the package arrived the coin worked its way out of the box and capsule and was freely moving around in box. I sent the order back, was very upset with this. Called CS, nothing has changed. Outsourced a job that should have stayed in Philly.

last shipment for me had too little packing material and mutually beaten ogp. an ase box opened, lid and base separate with the velvet one sliding around, too.
The stuff I get from the mint is generally packaged better than say, from Amazon.
Nothing like getting a hard disk that's been bouncing around in a large box for a thousand miles...
