Newp Bust Quarter from a Small Show Today

Local show in FL that I haven't attended in a long time. It was a pleasant surprise to find this one, and relatively reasonably priced . It's a nice match for the no motto seated quarter in my 7070.

    I would call the 25c a VF30.

    I like the look of both of your coins. I love the die rust and clashed dies on the 1833 quarter.

    Those are both very nice looking quarters, and excellent pictures, very authentic versus the staged and manipulated glamour shots that are so popular

    Certainly not staged or manipulated photos, but both coins do show more vibrant color in hand.

    I also grade the bust quarter high VF, unfortunately the dealer graded it XF and insisted on full Bid+ because of the eye appeal. Since it's one of the more nicely toned bust quarters I've ever come across, I settled for a small discount and bought it.

    Nice, kind of typical; big spread from VF to XF, temptation for sellers to call XF when not all there.
