Just got this new Mercury Dime variety in the mail today from Ebay.....

The 1944-S FS511 PCGS66. I am calling this the 511 because the "S" Mintmark is just like the 1945-S FS511 in the CPG. It is the same style MM and has the 2 lines connecting the serifs to the main body.....running North and South. You can click on the pic to get a larger pic. That's true...never thought of that. I will have to compare the two and see if I can find any die markers.
I just compared the two and they are different with different MM placements. Too bad that would have been neat.
