Error guys.......Is this a plating error on a new Lincoln?

Doing some roll searching and came across this 2015-D Lincoln. At the rim between 3 and 6 o'clock the color is off. It looks like a light blue aluminum. It is not toned. It appears to be the original planchet color. Any ideas?

Looks like subjection to high heat.
Looks like toning.
Thanks guys. There is no other tone on the coin that's why I thought maybe a plating issue. Appreciate the opinions!
Based on the photo I also think it's toning or has been heated.
most likely heated by a flame

I believe that is tarnish... either natural due to some type of previous storage or, possibly, induced... no way to tell from a picture - heck, it would be hard to tell in hand. Cheers, RickO
