I won some pieces in a couple of dark side auctions. Plan on cataloging them before going to the sdb. Grilling brats and burgers in the evening. Neighbors son home from tour of duty, family eating with us . Giving thanks to God and those who defend us.

Watching the parade, doing some barbecuing, shooting at the range, finish a home project and do some yard work. In between, look for a coin I am pursuing. ;) Cheers, RickO

Hop on the Harley and head to PA to Pay my Respects to my Father and Uncles, Korean War.
My paternal grandfather, he was WWI, was gassed and lost a lung, and a good bit of function in the remaining lung.
Pull weeds, spruce things up a bit.
Headstones would be overgrown if I didn't do this.

Wife's birthday today, plans Sunday to go to Downtown Pleasanton Antique Fair and get her some stuff. She'll burn thru a thick stack of $20's in no time.
There's typically a couple of coin dealers there but I look for many other things.
Watching Brokaw's The Greatest Generation Sunday at 9pm on MSNBC.

We have a block party every Memorial day in Baleyville. The biggest shade tree is in my front yard, so we'll have 100+ friends and neighbors on our lawn Sunday, and two dozen flags in sight.

My family has a lot of birthdays in May, so we have a giant "May Birthday". Later that day, I will be going to an a capella performance.

    This is the best post.
I have friends I served with on facebook and we were remembering those we served with that are no longer with us but fondly remembered. Oh the stories were great.

Too many think of parties and cookouts and too few even think of those that have paid the price for freedom

Run some errands, do a photo lesson, cut the grass, unclog gutters, moment of silence Monday at 3.
