Did someone drop a whole bottle of tobasco sauce on them?

Essentially face value. They all appear heavily cleaned or polished.

For the wheat cents you can probably get 2-3 cents each, but when you factor in time and fuel to get to a dealer's shop and back you might as well spend them.

Who cleaned them? Cleaning will destroy or severely decrease the value of any coin.

They've been cleaned which ruins their value.
But they weren't worth more than face value.

Looks like these came out of Shopping Channel sets, Framed pictures or cased in cardboard and plastic and sold at an extremely outrageous mark ups to unsuspecting buyers. Typical of these sets is heavy cleaning and polishing just like in the photos here, I have boxes of this crap and it boggles my mind to imagine how many people were taken in by these shopping channel gypsy swindlers. I don't want to resell them cause in my opinion no one needs it and I am no gypsy, I picked up most of it in an estate :/

Put them in a piggy bank and save them for the next generation to learn from.

Oh wow, they are screaming clean with a unique patina circa pre 1960's, pushing 60years of antiquity, these Art Deco gems should command hundreds of dollars each...

Certainly this might be a slight embellishment but that doubled ear 1969 jefferson pennie is worth a near mint.

@amjo...Welcome aboard.... those cents (as mentioned above) have been cleaned and that destroys collector value - of course, they really have no collector value anyway...You seem to be new to the hobby or just curious about some coins you have. If you are interested in collecting, continue to read this forum, get a Redbook and ask questions here. Enjoy.. .Cheers, Rick)
