California numismatic funding in Vista has more slabbed coins than most coin shops. They always have a table along the wall at LB,

Be prepared to pay taxes on purchases under $1500, I believe, true? (for coins/bullion).
Something to think about if you don't normally buy in places that charge tax on coins/bullion (like in my state)

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

...gotta pay tax in places where masses of people actually visit ;)

Chad @ SD Coin & Bullion is a Stand Up dude and his pops used to sell my Gramps coins in the 60's and 70's...not much of a selection on hand but if your there grab a chili cheeseburger from the Tommy's across the street after you visit...forgetaboutit ;)

Richard pretty much keeps the store open for walk-in sellers and deals in mostly bullion there.
There are very few coins on display. It's a rather small shop with maybe five glass cases.

If I bought the coins and had them shipped out of state, would I avoid the sales tax?

no, because you bought in state. Now when you get home, perhaps call the dealer ....
