Do these have a shot at a PLUS grade? (MS67 - Wheat Cent, Roosevelt Dime, & Washington Quarter)

All of these were submitted as crossovers to PCGS. Are any of these worth a regrade to go for the plus?

1 - 1950 PCGS MS67 RD 1c

2 1955-S PCGS MS67 FB 10c

3 1950-D PCGS MS67 25c

Nice photos. You might try the reconsideration service and mark the option "any" when filling out the form.
You just might be surprised. The fees (grading tier + 1% PCGS price guide if you win) are worth risking, considering the
    potential upside.

The Washington is very nice but the toning is not 67+ caliber, however I have seen less deserving coins get the +. 1 in 5 chance is my wager.

Do you know if there is a mechanism where PCGS will dip the coin for me and then regrade it (while covering it under the guarantee)? I had a similar thought that the toning was holding it back. As a blast white example, do you think it would fair a better shot at a 67+?

Thank you to everyone for the thoughts and comments.

For those who commented on the Roosevelt Dime, the photographs overemphasize the marks on the cheek. Here are a couple of photos that Shane took of the coin for me long ago when it was in an old ANACS holder.

Sure. PCGS conservation always includes a guarantee to not downgrade and may very well upgrade with great results.

I suspect there's more interest in confirming the original grade, however.

The reconsideration service is intended for coins in holders (and/or perhaps those with stickers) you don't want to lose. Graders assess coins through the plastic, which is always conservative. (It is also used for "plus grading" so the coin doesn't exceed a certain level -- e.g., AU58's you want to "plus" but not exceed 58+, for everyman registry sets.)

"Regrade" is the better service when the holder doesn't matter. The coin is cracked, graded raw (without any concerns about hidden issues), and guaranteed not to downgrade. On top of that there is no 1% premium fee.

As Lance has noted, it is possible.... IMO, unlikely.... I would say, they are your coins...and nice ones...so if you REALLY feel they deserve the +, then go for it.... nothing ventured, nothing gained. Cheers, RickO

I personally have had some success with the reconsideration (RECON) service getting the plus grade (even got a full point upgrade on two coins.) Any improvement in grade is good.
I seriously wonder if the frontline graders (those who see the coins raw) will even use the grade MS67+? Me thinks one has to pay again (and again) to get the extra "umph" in upgrade.
I know of a certain top-pop warnickel that I used to own was upgraded to MS67+FS two months after I just had it upgraded
to MS67FS. How? Apparently the submittor used RECON because it had the exact same cert number that my coin had.
I will use RECON service depending on the look of the coin.
