Interesting.... I have never sold anything on ebay....I have made purchases from time to time... it is a good place to find/price things not readily available elsewhere. I have done a couple of deals outside the system... When I was a low bidder on an item, I was contacted outside the system by someone who had one for sale....not sure how they got my contact information...perhaps that was prior to the encoded bidding ID's....In that case, the seller did not have the item listed, so no foul there....well, except he MAY have listed it at some future date...though he said he was not an ebay seller...just saw that I was interested in the item. Cheers, RickO

The error coin guy should be along any time now....

No I was out gold mining in the desert .... enjoying life and NOT worrying about how BAD ebay is .... came back to enjoy the ebay 10% coupon. Made a purchase with PROFITS off of coin sales on That I Made on ebay.

Making money on coins on ebay is not rocket science, but it does take effort and talent.

Funny thing is they make no money off the buyers all income is from sellers and advertizers.

Without the buyers, there are no sellers, so I guess you could say ALL the money comes from the buyers.

Wrong! Who gets a fee that comes out of their account, the buyer or the seller? The buyer is paying for what they choose to purchase, the seller has no choice if they choose to use eBay. I dont mind a fee, but 13% between PP and eBay...really? How did they survive when they charged 3%?

The buyer is paying the fee. He is sending you the money and then you are sending his fee to eBay! If there was not a buyer, you would have no fees at all. They call it sellers fee, but the buyer is in fact paying it in his purchase price. Chicken or Egg here.

The buyer is choosing to purchase the item LOL. The seller gets the fee for the sale of the item. You're out of your mind thinking the buyer pays the fee, probably trolling but that's ok, everyone knows what's up.
