Coins on my mind as I headed to work this morning.

So I'm driving to work this morning and getting off the freeway, DEEP in thought about what might take place and who might be stopping in. Suddenly I spot a tactor-trailer ahead of me with a large round picture across the back. Heck, it looks like a coin to me from a few hundred feet away. I can vaguely make out the wreath going around some lettering in the middle that I can't quite read, it seems brownish in color. Wow, some kind of a delivery truck with a coin logo on it, that's pretty neat!!!
Now I'm getting closer to the truck at the bottom of the exit and the driver starts to turn. As he does and I start to stop I can finally see everything and read it clearly. It's a freakin' delivery truck for Oreo Cookies!!!
Oreo Cookies!!! Well, it looked like a coin.

Well the US mint will probably issue an Oreo cookie commemorative coin eventually, so you may not be far off.

Don't forget your glasses the next time you're at the DMV.
Big Al, I thought you were retiring?
July 8th, baby!! then I'll take a month off and work some part-time, probably Thur-Sat. my line lately has been that everything will get done at work when I'm not there, but it might get ugly.
at a hundred yards in the morning light on the back of a moving vehicle, looks sorta like a coin, don't it??
I prefer the bullion version of Fig Newtons
I was driving to work this morning , wondering why pinehurst coins contacted me via email a couple weeks ago, looking for, and offering $40k for a monster box of eagles from 2015. I'd purchased 2 about a year or so ago. Unfortunately, one was dispersed and the other to a client. They were not marked with number 10,000-10999.
And for the life of me, there is so much going on in the coin world, a guy can't keep up.
Those coins were minted at the Philadelphia mint, so I was told. This is my understanding. A modern day key bullion coin ? Got milk (spots) ? Anyway, somebody could score. Just thought I would share.
Okay ... back to the cookies
. That's kind of related.
