Ever think of having a PERSONAL coin show?

I do once in a while.
I won't, but it's a fun fantasy. I did shows when I was in the bizz, but the coins I have in my collection aren't the "usual" fare at most shows.
At the shop, I had ...special... coins that I put in the case for validation and customer trust.
Seldom sold most of those. But they are good for attracting some attention and getting some public chatter going. A business decision for the shop.
Just curious if you ever think of setting YOUR collection on a table and letting people buy out of it.

If I wanted to sell out my collection, then I would ask a dealer if I could have a spot on the side of one of the tables. I would have to be in debt or something to even consider doing this though.

I think people would be bummed if they saw the magnitude of all the neat stuff and they weren't for sale. I'm sure if they were priced at shot money you'd prob sell something none the less,
I guess that's what I see everybody that's set doing at shows really.
No... I never have considered that.... Occasionally, I will show a friend or relative a specific coin if the direction of conversation warrants it.... other than that, my coins are for my enjoyment. Cheers, RickO
I've done it a few times over the years mainly for fun and buying opportunity. It's a great learning experience for sure to be on the other end of the table. I'd hang out, nitpick and lowball the hell out of your table for sure Topstuf !!!!
