Is anyone else having this problem?

I noticed about a week ago that in the list of threads, all the threads started to show an Edit "wheel". Up until that time I had only seen an Edit "wheel" on threads that I posted.
About the same time I noticed that if posted a pic to a thread, it would show up just fine, but if I went back later then sometimes the pic would be there, and sometimes only the coding "script" for the pic would be there. I also noticed that I was seeing a fair amount of coding "script" for other people's images too, even if I had seen the pix earlier in the thread. FWIW, once the "New Forum" started in October I stopped using Photobucket, and all the pix that I have posted since October have been dragged from my computer directory to the appropriate thread/post. Also, I am using a Safari browser on a Mac.
Anyhow, this appearance of coding script instead of pictures appears to have started approximately the same time I saw the Edit "wheel" on all threads. Is anyone else having this issue?

The gear is now also a "tag" feature of some sort, for other posts.
The gear works to edit your own posts still as well.

One can always query the software admin... on the post 'Welcome to the new coin forum'....I have always received prompt answers to my questions....Cheers, RickO

I would like to have some clickey thing (maybe there is one ) that would mark a thread like it's been read.
Some that don't interest me won't drop off unless I open them.
I have been having issues viewing some pics while using Google Chrome... I thought it was just me

I haven't really noticed the issue in the op, but have from time to time seen posts that appear to be in response to different threads entirely. Where right in the middle of a thread on one topic, there is a response that seems to fit on another topic completely and makes no sense in the context of the thread. Thought it was someone responding to the wrong thread, but have seen it a few times.
