Elks Lodge Gardena, Ca. Coin Show April 29 & 30

In my local paper I saw an ad for a coin show that's pretty local for me at the Elks Lodge in Gardena, Ca. This weekend, April 29 & 30th.
Has anyone here ever attended this show? And if so, how was it?
I see it's gone on before in past years.

I can't say anything about the Gardena show but when I lived in SD I always attended the Elk's lodge show in San Diego. It was small but certainly enjoyable and they had a live auction that occasionally netted me some nice finds.
If it's close by and you have the time you certainly should attend, if only to meet fellow enthusiasts and make new contacts. In this hobby you can never have too many friends....
Those small coin shows often provide surprises.... some collectors who are either liquidating collections or just like to get out of the house and talk coins with like minded people... I found some good coins a small local shows. Cheers, RickO
Big city? Compton!
I went to the show there last year. Was a fairly small show, maybe 30 tables (meaning 15-20 dealers). Not in the best area of L.A. either, but was right by a police station, so most felt a bit more secure. Been thinking of maybe going, but haven't decided yet. Not many other shows in the L.A. area until Long Beach, but that's only just over a month away now
