My suggestion: don't do Economy submissions. Instead do Regular or Express, especially if you're impatient (which it sounds like you are).

I think it is more of a situation where we are relying on PCGS to deliver on the information provided on the website. Today marks the 28th business day of a submission I gave them in Florida at FUN in March. I am also using the day they entered in my submission, which is a week after I gave them the coins physically. Not complaining, just observing the delivery process.

I am anticipating my results, but not crazed. Interestingly, I will be selling the coins submitted, but when I bought the roll I knew it would be a couple of months before they were graded.

There are plenty in the same boat that you are in...some of us have made it a habit of pronouncing our disgust through this forum, I am guilty as well. There are other things that you could do;

I could wash my car in the rain
Change my new guitar strings
Mow the yard just the same as I did yesterday
Check the air in my tires
Straighten my stereo wires
Count the stars in the sky or just get on with my life

I just got back a submission on Saturday that they received on March 15th. It was economy secure plus and 5 coins.

Now that's worthy of an "ouch!". Were they world coins, error coins, or anything obscure/requiring a specialist? If not then that is worth whining about.

Grading is a unique skill set.

PCGS drives most of the industry.

I don't submit often.

If I have resale in my mind, I factor 90 days from buying, receiving coin, shipping to PCGS, grading process, shipping return, being resold, collecting money, and shipping coin to new owner.

It was an 11 coin submission with 5 Lincoln's, a Roosevelt, a Mercury, a Seated dollar, a Seated Quarter, an IHC and one large cent.

There is a submission on the shared order page today with a received date of 12/7. Due to the value of the coins it also appears to be a regular submission.

You get what you pay for. PCGS and NGC have long turnaround times because their slabs are worth more than ANACS or ICG which have much shorter turnaround, prices, etc. Stick with PCGS and be patient.

You guys are killing me. My tracking numbers show my submission was signed in by PCGS yesterday and I keep pinging the site to see if they've been logged in yet and no luck. Now I read this and I'm thinking my 15 day turnaround is out the window....

That 60 day regular tier number is excessive. Even if it were Economy I'd not be happy but would say oh well, you get what you pay for... but that's pretty ridiculous for regular tier. I think I'd have to ask for some kind of adjustment.

Currently waiting on my "Regular" (15 day turnaround) Reconsideration submission at day 20.

Sometimes PCGS is super quick while at other times they are syrupy slow.
I expect that a bunch of SAE's have been submitted since 4/4 for those Anniversary and First Strike™ labels along with First Strike™ Proof Sets and First Strike™ whatevers.

Oh yeah, lets not forget about the 15,000 (or more) SAE's submitted for that Trump/Pence Label.

my two coin Regular submission was picked up at the PO on 4/7 at 8:30AM and entered into the system four days later, around noon on 4/11. that puts me at 18 days right now --- all of my orders seem to show as completed on Tuesdays, so I figure it'll be ready in a couple days.

Had 2 submissions in currently. My 3/22 economy submission posted yesterday and my 4/4 submission should pop in about 2 calendar weeks.

These guys waiting 60 days for regular submissions should be raising hell unless the coins need research or special treatment. That's just not right.

It was showing 28 days on their statistics page, if you ask for imaging or variety it could be a lot longer. I have a couple invoices that should be done soon but if they are a lot slower, I'm not sure. Check out the shared orders page, look for turn arounds for likely finish dates.

I recently noticed on my invoice that PCGS listed the received date and graded date on my Secure express order.
received 04/04/17
graded 04/07/17
shipped 04/19/17

So it spent 12 days floating around after grading, maybe the finalizer step happens on a later date?
Or the Trueviews process occurs after grading?

Anyone else ever notice a large gap of days between grading and shipment?

A friend's invoice that was received on 3/29 finished today, but it was relatively easy, not sure if that makes any difference.
