FOSTER MINT 1969 19.25 OZ .999 SILVER EAGLES NEST

I have two complete sets in their original black boxes. I've had one set since my 8th Bday in 1969. Both sets are "Hercaimy" (as opposed to "Silver Eagle Sales, Inc."). Does anyone know the approximate values? I've seen them listed for $1200-$1300. But, I don't know if that is a realistic value with silver in the $18-$19 range.

I always loved those sets. Never owned one.

That is well above melt... Not sure what the collector value is for these....if they are scarce, it could go that high to collectors, though I would think that is a small group... and that is better than three times melt. Cheers, RickO

If I was a collector of these, I wouldn't pay over 2X spot.

2X is my best guess too. I would try buy one for around $700 which is just below 2X with spot at $18.60.
