I had a chance to view the fantastic Bruce Morelan display PCGS exhibited at Long Beach. Truly a sight to behold. Enjoyed every minute! I can't say enough of how wonderful Bruce Morelan (And Legend) did on assembling a "World class early dollar collection" over the many years. So, my congrats to everyone at PCGS and Legend for granting us an opportunity to spend some time admiring the set in its entirety.

Ron Guth is right, Bruce is a very approachable and congenial person. I was fortunate enough to spend a brief amount of time with Bruce a few years ago enjoying his company and talking coins.

Oh, and btw, the brochure PGCS designed was wonderful! It actually inspired me to get going on my own brochure for my Mexican 1/2 reale set. Stay tuned in the World forum....

Persuing choice countermarked coinage on 2 reales.

Enjoyed numismatic conversations with Eric P. Newman, Dave Akers, Jules Reiver, David Davis, Russ Logan, John McCloskey, Kirk Gorman, W. David Perkins...

Thanks for posting the link. That was humorous to read how Bruce and Laura had to wait in line to get pictures. Any way one could still acquire one of the promotional brochures Ron described?

"When I wrote about this collection for the promotional brochure that accompanies this presentation, I called it the highest concentration of value in the PCGS Set Registry, meaning that the per-coin value in this set is simply off the charts."

I saw the display at ANA and said WOW. And now with the addition of the 1804 - WOW WOW. Words can't express how great the collection and person are. PCGS showed it off first class.
